VISION​

We envision frequent, well-promoted venues showcasing the products of our small local handmade/homemade creators of Art.

 

We want to use these venues to help our area's micro-economy by fundraising for our 'local' community.

Art is a reflection of our culture. It must be accessible and inclusive.

​

The County is the perfect place for all types of art.   A place where you can open yourself up to what is new, original, and exciting. It may not necessarily be what everyone else thinks of as 'Art'.  We believe that only you have the 'eye of the beholder'.​

 

A selective process for art never gives anyone real choice. In general, Art flows and changes always and all ways. For example, sculptors who worked with recycled metal were not trendy until the Modern Art Movement. As with most artists, neither was Maud Lewis's 'folk art' recognized or valued until well after her death.
